A Course in Finite Group Representation Theory
《A Course in Finite Group Representation Theory》 · 第 113 页 · Section 3.6「Separable Field Extensions」,Definition 3
Let $K\subset L$ be an algebraic field extension. An element $\alpha\in L$ is called separable over $K$ if $\alpha$ is a zero of a separable polynomial of $K[X]$, or equivalently, if the minimal polynomial of $\alpha$ over $K$ is separable. The field $L$ is called separable over $K$ if every element $\alpha\in L$ is separable over $K$.
