《Lecture Notes on Bayesian Estimation and Classification》 · 第 26 页 · Section 1.5「Endomorphisms and Automorphisms」
If $G$ is a group, an automorphism of $G$ is an isomorphism from $G$ to $G$. The set of automorphisms of $G$ is denoted by $\operatorname{Aut}G$; this, then, is the subset of elements of $\operatorname{End}G$ which possess multiplicative inverses. $\operatorname{Aut}G$ is a group with respect to functional composition.
